Fully timber-built apartment building

This apartment block is designed as an oasis in the city. The building is bordered on one side by a busy road and on the other side by a railway.

For this reason, the decision was made to connect the three apartment blocks with an open greenhouse structure. This creates an oasis where city sounds are kept outside.

Block pattern

The front view of the building facing the city features many straight lines. The wooden frame forming the skeleton of the building is clearly visible. Bird and insect houses are incorporated into the block pattern, creating a connection between humans and nature.

Green oasis

The space between the three buildings is a green oasis where nature is maximally present, and interaction between residents and visitors is encouraged.

Balconies are formed by planters with overhanging plants. Through the use of form and numerous plants, all spaces blend together.
