Villa

This stunning villa, located on the edge of a picturesque village in North Brabant, forms a harmonious unity with its surroundings. The extensive plot, surrounded by lush meadows and authentic farms, provides the perfect setting for this villa.

Inspired by the old ‘langgevel’ farms characteristic for the region, the villas design is notable for its roof. The roof starts at a height of 1.5 meters, this adds a charming and distinctive element to the design. This architectural choice reflects the traditional buildings style, while giving a contemporary twist to the residence.

Extraordinary Material

An essential feature of the villa is the use of materials that offer a modern interpretation of those used in earlier practices. The roof, covered with thatch, contributes to the rural charm of the villa, and seamlessly integrated the roof with the surrounding landscape.

The façade is clad in charred black wood, a contemporary material that combines the warmth of wood with a sleep modern appearance. This choice in cladding adds a touch of rustic elegance to the exterior, while imparting a unique and contemporary character.

Noord-Brabant Character

Overall, this villa is a beautiful example of how modern architecture can coexist and work together with the use of traditional elements and natural materials. By the seamless adaptation to its surroundings, this home not only provides a luxurious and comfortable living space, but also contributes to the aesthetic and character of the countryside in North-Brabant.
